An investigation into a three-vehicle collision involving a city bus in Belleville has led to a Highway Traffic Act charge for a Campbellford resident, say police.
The Belleville Police Service said on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2024, at about 2 p.m., emergency crews responded to a three-vehicle crash involving a bus in the north end of the city.
Police said an SUV was making a left turn out of a Bell Boulevard business and collided with a westbound vehicle. As a result of the initial collision, police said a second vehicle struck an eastbound city transit bus.
No injuries were reported.
As a result of the investigation, police said a 29-year-old Campbellford man was charged with fail to yield from a private drive under the Highway Traffic Act.
