Canadian Tire Cobourg has donated $6,000 to Northumberland County’s Food 4 All Warehouse to help distribute nutritious food and essential household items to families in need.
This donation builds on the company’s long-standing support for food security, having contributed nearly $30,000 to Food 4 All over the past nine years.
General Manager Stephanie Miletic tells us it’s not just a company initiative.
“Canadian Tire Cobourg feels it is important to support our local community,” says Associate Dealer Peter Puglia. “We know that Food 4 All does great work in Northumberland County, and we are happy to support them.”
Miletic tells us Canadian Tire is happy to give back to the community however they can.
The Food 4 All Warehouse provides food and supplies to local food banks, non-profits, and school nutrition programs across the county. In 2024, it distributed over 1.27 million pounds of product, helping more than 5,600 individuals.
According to Miletic, it was a real eye-opener to visit the Food 4 All warehouse.
“We are incredibly grateful for the continued support from Canadian Tire Cobourg,” says County Facilities and Food Security Services Manager Rob O’Neil. “Food security impacts health, education, and well-being, and donations like this allow us to continue serving our community. With the help of compassionate partners, we are better equipped to fight hunger and build a stronger Northumberland.”
