Quinte West’s Community Improvement Plan (CIP) program is now accepting applications for its 2025 spring funding round, offering $200,000 in matching funds to help local businesses enhance their properties.
The CIP program provides up to 50% of eligible project costs for improvements such as façade upgrades, new signage, building renovations, and upper-storey conversions. This year, the program has expanded to allow local tourism operators to access funding to enhance their businesses.
“The City is committed to strengthening the economic future of businesses in Quinte West,” says Linda Lisle, Manager of Economic Development and Tourism. “The newly revised CIP program provides funding opportunities for business owners to enhance their properties, fostering growth, increasing property values, and driving economic development and revitalization throughout our community.”
Since 2008, the City’s CIP program has granted over $600,000, supporting more than 100 business revitalization projects.
Business owners can apply for the spring funding round until March 31, 2025. A second application period will open from Aug. 18 to Sept. 29.
