A North York resident is facing charges after Northumberland OPP say they clocked a vehicle at 169 km/h on Hwy. 401.
According to Northumberland OPP, the accused was stopped on Hwy. 401 eastbound in the Township of Cramahe.
What’s more, police said the driver was also charged for allegedly failing to pull over to the right for an emergency vehicle.
The accused is a 33-year-old man from North York.
Police are continuing to call on motorists to pull over when they see emergency lights for motorists and officers’ safety.
In addition to a future court date, the accused had their licence suspended for 30 days and the vehicle was impounded for 14 days.
