McCann and Sidney streets in Trenton have reopened after an emergency road closure prompted by a gas main break, says the City of Quinte West.
McCann was previously shut down between Sidney and Byron and Sidney south of Dixon Drive. There were also some evacuations as a precaution earlier in the day Tuesday, May 27.
Emergency crews have resolved the issue, and the area has been deemed safe, said city officials, in an update.
The city is thanking residents and motorists for their patience and co-operation.
