
Do you know someone who makes a difference in Alnwick/Haldimand?
The Township is now accepting nominations for the 2025 Civic Awards.
The awards celebrate local residents who give their time and talents to improve the community. Nominees must live in the Township of Alnwick/Haldimand, and can be nominated in one of seven categories:
Citizen of the Year
Junior Citizen of the Year
Outstanding Achievement in the Arts
Outstanding Community Service
Outstanding Athletic Achievement
Outstanding Community Spirit
Winners will be honoured at a special ceremony on Sunday, June 29, as part of the Canada Day festivities in Grafton.
Nomination forms are available at the township office in Grafton or online at www.ahtwp.ca/council. All nominations must be submitted to the Clerk’s office by 12 p.m. on Monday, June 2, 2025.
“This is a chance to show appreciation for those who help make our community strong, welcoming, and vibrant,” said Township Clerk Emily Cartlidge.
