AbZolutely Choir Northumberland is bringing music and meaning to Cobourg with their year-end concert, So Much to Sing For, on Wednesday, June 4.
The event will raise funds for Community Care Northumberland’s Meals on Wheels program, which provides nutritious and affordable meals to residents in need. The concert takes place at Trinity United Church, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and the show starting at 7.
“All of us at Community Care Northumberland want to thank the talented AbZolutely Choir for supporting Meals on Wheels,” said Sheri Birney, Manager of Nutrition Services. “We rely on community partners like this to help deliver critical services.”
Led by singer-songwriter and educator Abby Zotz, the women’s ensemble promises a fresh, joyful performance. The night will feature songs by Gordon Lightfoot, Toto, The Lumineers, and The Strumbellas – along with dancers, soundscapes, and vocal improv.
“This year’s concert is about love, compassion, and human connection,” Zotz said. “And we dare you not to sing along!”
Tickets are $15 from choir members, $20 at the door, and just $5 for kids 12 and under.
