As of today – Wednesday, June 4 – you enjoy live music under the sky at Brighton’s Memorial Park.
Later today, at 6:30 p.m., the popular Concerts in the Park series returns to light up the stage at Memorial Park.
Kicking off the series is Bentwood Rocker.
The Municipality of Brighton’s community events steering committee organizes the series, which offers residents and visitors the chance to come together and enjoy free live entertainment from local artists until the end of August.
The concerts are on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. In the case of poor weather, concerts will be held on the following night (Thursdays) at the same time.
After Bentwood Rocker, Big Black Smoke is up next week, followed by Whiskey Mojo on June 18.
Coup de Ville, Band Little Lake, Vinyl Groovz, Four Lanes Wide, the Offbeats, Steve Piticco and Friends, the Reasons, the Plowboys – featuring Freddy Vette – and Vintage Vibes Music will follow.
The Brighton All Star Band is once again set to close out the series on Aug. 27.
