A woman accused of throwing urine at security personnel has been charged with assault, says Belleville police.
On Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at about noon, the Belleville Police Service said officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the east end involving a woman causing issues at the property.
Upon arrival, officers said they spoke with on-site security personnel who reported that the woman had allegedly thrown urine at them.
The accused 45-year-old woman with no fixed address was subsequently located, arrested and charged with assault, reported police.
In an unrelated call just before 1 a.m. Thursday, a disturbance report has led to an uttering threats to cause bodily harm charge.
While on the line with the caller, police dispatch could hear a man yelling and the sound of items being smashed in the background, reported the service.
After officers arrived on scene and obtained further information, a 46-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged.
