Presqu’ile Provincial Park’s summer programs are in full swing in Brighton.
Beaches and day-use areas are open to the public and Bev Cook with the Friends of Presqu’ile Park says there are plenty of planned Canada Day events, including an insect Safari.
That’s Canada Day morning. There’s a talk on beavers in the afternoon.
Cook says special programs have been laid on for Canada Day night.
Cook says members of the Royal Astronomical Society host that event.
The Lighthouse Interpretive Centre and the Nature Centre will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
The Friends of Presqu’ile Gift Shop in the Lighthouse Interpretive Centre will be open.
