A new website from My Broadcasting Corporation, 93.3 myFM, Classic Rock 107.9 and Oldies 100.9’s parent company, is helping residents of Northumberland County and surrounding areas rediscover top day trip destinations close to home.
Staycay Eh! is a locally focused tourism platform showcasing hidden gems, must-visit eateries, and unique attractions across Ontario – with plenty of ideas just a short drive from Cobourg, Port Hope, Brighton and Trent Hills.
Digital Manager Tracey McBride says the platform brings together content from all MBC-owned stations to give users a one-stop guide to exploring their own backyard.
From beach days at Presqu’ile Provincial Park to scenic hikes in the Ganaraska Forest, and charming downtowns filled with shops and local eats, there’s no shortage of experiences waiting nearby. Digital Manager Tracey McBride says the site was designed to encourage people to explore their own backyard while supporting community businesses and tourism operators.
The site pulls together recommendations from MBC’s network of local stations and allows visitors to browse by region or search for ideas province-wide. There’s also a submission form for local attractions hoping to be featured.
Whether you’re looking to enjoy local wineries, summer festivals, family-friendly outings or just a relaxing day in nature, Staycay Eh! has something for everyone.
