One lucky local charity will get some help at this year’s Applefest in Brighton.
Brighton’s Applefest advisory committee has announced rollout of a new “Apple Seed Funding Program.”
The committee says local organizations can apply until Aug. 5 through the new program, which will end up helping one local charity to facilitate and keep proceeds from the 50/50 run at the Applefest Car Show.
“If selected for this opportunity, organizations will receive a 10 (by) 10 booth space at the car show, free advertising on the Brighton Applefest website, social media pages and brochure, and 50 per cent of the proceeds generated at the Applefest Car Show on Saturday, Sept. 27,” says the committee.
Interested organizations can learn more about criteria and put forward applications online.
