A two-vehicle crash on Hwy. 62 – just south of Rossmore – has sent three people to hospital and resulted in charges for a Bloomfield woman, says Prince Edward County OPP.
OPP said officers were called to the crash Wednesday, July 23, 2025, just before 1 p.m., for reports that a stopped vehicle was allegedly hit from behind by another vehicle.
Occupants of both vehicles were sent to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, reported OPP, on Thursday, July 24.
As a result of the investigation, police said a 41-year-old Bloomfield woman was charged with careless driving, driving a vehicle with no current permit, driving a vehicle with no licence, and failing to have an insurance card.
None of these charges have been proven in court.
