A road closure is in the works for this weekend to accommodate the return of the annual Quinte West House League Soccer Tournament at Centennial Park.
The City of Quinte West says the tourney will mean Couch Crescent will be closed to through-traffic on Saturday, Aug. 16 and Sunday, Aug. 17 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The closure area will impact the stretch between Bay Street and the Trenton Skatepark. However, Couch Crescent will remain accessible on both sides of the closure area from Bay and Ontario streets, say city officials.
Through-traffic will be permitted outside the closure hours.
