A property damage complaint has led to a mischief charge, says Northumberland OPP.
Back on Aug. 11, 2025, Northumberland OPP said officers responded to a complaint about damage to a residential property on Dale Road in the Township of Hamilton. Police provided no further details surrounding the alleged property damage.
In a subsequent update, police said an individual has now been charged in connection with the incident after an arrest on Aug. 21, 2025.
As a result of the investigation, police said a 48-year-old Township of Hamilton man was charged with mischief under $5,000.
This charge hasn’t been proven in court.
The accused will appear in Cobourg court in October, reported OPP.
