The Northumberland Vintage Show is scheduled for Saturday, September 13th, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 601 Sandy Flats Road in Roseneath. The event features more than 100 vendors selling vintage clothing, mid-century furniture, retro décor, and antique collectibles.
Organizer Kaitlyn Chapman says with last year being their first show, they weren’t sure just how the numbers would be.
Speaking with York in the Morning on Classic Rock 107.9, organizer Kaitlyn Chapman talks about this year’s vendor lineup.
This year, the event is once again connected to the Primrose Donkey Sanctuary that rescues and cares for donkeys, mules, and hinnies. Donations from attendees will support the sanctuary’s operations, which include providing food, shelter, and medical care for over 60 rescued animals.
Chapman spoke to York about a special guest this year.
Tips to make the most of your visit:
Arrive early: To get the best selection before items are picked over, plan to arrive at or close to the start time.
Bring cash and multiple payment methods: While many vendors accept credit or debit cards, it’s advisable to bring cash as well, as not all may have electronic payment options.
Pack a tote bag: A spacious tote will help you carry your finds comfortably throughout the day.
Dress comfortably: You’ll be on your feet for extended periods, so wear comfortable shoes and consider bringing flats or sneakers if wearing heels.
Stay hydrated and energized: Bring a water bottle and snacks to keep yourself refreshed while browsing.
Engage with vendors: Sellers often have interesting stories and information about the items they offer.
Plan to make a day of it: In addition to shopping, enjoy food and beverage offerings and explore other non-vintage vendors, including florists and handmade artisans.
Participate in the raffle: Don’t miss the chance to enter the raffle for a variety of prizes.
Admission to the event is free, and donations to the Primrose Donkey Sanctuary are encouraged.
