Work on a new water service connection and a related lane reduction along Ontario Street in Brighton has been postponed.
Earlier, the Municipality of Brighton advised residents that the work was slated for Tuesday, Sept. 16, and would result in a lane reduction north of Cardinal Court to Raglan Street.
The work is still going ahead but will now happen next Tuesday, Sept. 23. The lane reduction is set for 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
While the municipality says traffic controls will be in place to manage flow of vehicles through the impacted area, where possible, drivers are asked to consider alternate routes and expect minor delays.
