
An investigation into a serious collision in Cambridge involving a pedestrian, which resulted in life-threatening injuries for a Trenton man, is continuing, say police.
According to the Waterloo Regional Police Service, the traffic services unit is continuing their probe into the crash, which occurred last Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2025.
Police said at about 8:15 p.m. emergency crews responded to reports of a collision involving a Chevrolet vehicle and pedestrian in the Grand Avenue and Queens Square area.
βThe pedestrian β a 32-year-old male from Trenton β sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to an out-of-region hospital by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services,β said police.
Police noted that the driver of the Chevrolet remained at the scene.
