The Roseneath Agricultural Society is gearing up to welcome visitors to the annual Roseneath Fair, running from Friday, October 3 through Sunday, October 5.
The fair has been a community tradition since 1870, showcasing the area’s strong agricultural roots and in that century and a half it’s grown from a small country gathering into a full weekend celebration of farming, food, entertainment, and local talent.
Secretary/Treasurer Barb Foreman says this year brings some fresh highlights to complement long-standing favourites.
Of course, tradition is strong at Roseneath. The fair will bring back beloved events: agricultural exhibits of vegetables, fruits, grains, and livestock; homecraft and arts displays; heavy and light horse pulls and the Morgan horse classes; antique tractor pull; the demolition derby; Show & Shine; the Rosebud Baby Show; and more.
Foreman says you’ll see the community come together over exhibits, livestock, and evening entertainment with many fair favourites making a return this year including the free kids zone.
Foreman offers a warm welcome to the community of Northumberland and beyond.
So mark your calendars and make plans to meet at the Roseneath Carousel for a weekend you won’t want to miss.
Bring friends and family, and join the fun in Roseneath from October 3 to 5.
