
Two people have been arrested in connection with alleged thefts from vehicles, says Quinte West OPP.
On Sept. 26, at about 8:30 a.m., officers said an investigation into multiple alleged thefts from vehicles led to the arrest of two individuals.
As a result of the investigation, police said a 27-year-old Kingston resident was charged with mischief over $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, and possession of a schedule I substance – cocaine.
A second individual – a 43-year-old Ottawa resident – was also charged with mischief over $5,000, theft over $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, possession of a schedule I substance – methamphetamine, possession of a schedule I substance – cocaine, and two counts of failure to comply with a probation order, reported OPP.
None of these charges have been proven in court.
