Non-serious injuries are being reported after a two-vehicle crash in Trenton involving an OPP cruiser on Tuesday morning.
Few official details have been released, but an OPP spokesperson told MBC via email that the two-vehicle collision occurred in the Dundas Street East and Flindall Street area at about 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, and one of the vehicles was an OPP cruiser.
The spokesperson also said that no serious injuries were reported, and paramedics were called in as a precaution.
In a subsequent afternoon social media post, police stated that Dundas Street East will be closed at Flindall Street for several hours so crews can tackle replacement of a hydro pole damaged in the collision.
Officials are asking residents to use RCAF Road and Curtis Road/Dixon Drive as a detour. For people looking to visit Dundas Street East businesses, it’s suggested they use the Canadian Tire parking lot as a detour.
Police are urging residents to drive carefully in the area and to be courteous to others.
