Two people sent to hospital over the weekend after a crash involving a passenger vehicle and motorcycle in Cramahe are expected to make a full recovery, say police.
In an update Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2025, a Northumberland OPP spokesperson said injuries sustained were not as serious as initially thought – although, two individuals were sent to hospital, no life-altering or life-threatening injuries are now being reported.
However, one individual did sustain serious injuries but both riders are expected to make a full recovery, said the spokesperson, noting the cause of the collision is still under investigation.
As previously reported, emergency crews responded to the crash in the Old Percy Road area, just south of Spring Street, in the Township of Cramahe, on the afternoon of Sunday, Oct. 5, 2025.
The collision was initially described as a serious-injury collision, which shut down the road into the evening hours for the on-site investigation.
No other details have been released.
