
Brightonians can start hitting the ice at the King Edward Park Arena next week.
The public skating season officially kicks off next Wednesday, Oct. 15.
Two public skates are on the calendar for next week – one on Wednesday from 3 to 4:30 p.m. and then another Friday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
After that, the activities start to ramp up even further the following week with dedicated skate times for parents and tots, seniors, and adults, in addition to the community skate dates.
The Municipality of Brighton is also dedicating time for youth and adult shinny again this ice season and for special themed skating events.
For instance, in October, there will be a Halloween-dedicated skate on Oct. 31, which will feature additional activities and treats.
