Northumberland OPP is calling on the public for help with an alleged fail-to-remain collision that sent a motorcyclist to hospital with serious injuries.
Around midday on Tuesday (Oct. 14), police said there was a serious injury collision in the eastbound Hwy. 401 lanes in the Municipality of Port Hope near the service centre.
The crash involved a passenger vehicle and motorcycle and sent the motorcyclist to hospital with serious injuries, reported OPP.
The passenger vehicle allegedly failed to remain at the scene and is described as grey in colour and may be an SUV, said investigators, adding it’s believed to have damage on its right-hand side.
Police are calling on any witnesses or anyone with video/dashcam footage to reach out to OPP at 1-88-310-1122. Police also provided an incident number of E251401092.
