If you’re looking to learn more about Brighton’s Dundas Street water booster pumping station project, there’s a meeting in the works for Tuesday.
The public information centre – also known as a PIC – is Tuesday, Oct. 21 at the King Edward Park Arena.
Brightonians can stop in to learn more about the project, meet the team behind the project and learn about proposed alternative solutions and design options, environmental considerations, and more.
The meeting runs from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
As previously reported, this meeting is part of a class environmental assessment (EA) planning process to facilitate the project and zero in on a preferred location. The new station would replace the existing station currently located in the boulevard at 100 Dundas St.
According to the municipality, the new station is needed to address future water demands in the northeast area of Brighton.
More information on the project is accessible online.
