A Belleville police investigation has led to the alleged seizure of drugs – including an “unknown substance” – and weapons, say police.
As a result of a drug-trafficking investigation in the city, the Belleville Police Service said a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act warrant was executed at a local motel on Oc. 22, 2025. The intelligence/street crime unit had help from the canine and emergency response units, reported police.
As a result of the investigation, police said they seized 1.7 grams of fentanyl, 8.8 grams of crystal methamphetamine, “61 grams of an unknown substance,” brass knuckles, pepper spray, a replica handgun, and $1,831 in Canadian currency.
Seven Belleville residents were charged following the raid.
