Two Belleville residents are facing charges after an alleged “stabbing incident” in Picton over the weekend, say police.
According to Prince Edward County OPP, on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025, at about 2:15 a.m., officers responded to a reported stabbing at a local residence.
“Officers arrived to find three victims with non-life-threatening injuries,” reported OPP. “Another individual reported they were threatened with a knife.”
The investigation led officers to recover a weapon at the scene, and two people were arrested, said police.
As a result of the investigation, police said Phoenix Draper, 23, of Belleville, was charged with assault, uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, two counts of assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, unlawfully being in a dwelling, and failure to comply with a probation order.
Police also said that Cameron Bush, 24, of Belleville, was charged with two counts of assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
None of these charges have been proven in court.
Both of the accused remained in custody, said police, in a release issued on Tuesday, Nov. 4, adding they were scheduled to appear in court in Belleville on Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2025.
No other details were released by police.
