Brighton Fire and Rescue is gearing up to tackle another critical call – the call to help raise awareness and funds for men’s health issues.
For “Movember” this year, the team is looking to raise $7,500 and needs the community’s help.
Movember is described as a global movement held in November to raise funds and awareness for men’s health issues such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention.
Brighton Fire and Rescue has signed on again this year to help all the dads, brothers, sons and mates in need in their lives.
The team has a fundraising page set up where you can learn more information about the cause and about firefighters’ reasons for stepping up.
Capt. David Reddom is among the team and talks about raising funds and awareness this Movember in memory of his grandfather, who passed away in 2019 after a battle with prostate cancer.
