After another RIDE check in Quinte West, a Frankford man is facing impaired driving charges, say police.
According to Quinte West OPP, on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025, at about 6:30 p.m., the accused was stopped during a RIDE check point, then arrested and transported to the station for further testing.
As a result of the investigation, police said a 41-year-old Frankford man was charged with operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs, and operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus.)
None of these charges have been proven in court.
The accused will appear in Belleville court on Dec. 4, 2025, reported OPP.
The accused also had his licence suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle impounded for seven days.
Police continue to call on citizens to report suspected impaired driving by calling 911.
