The City of Quinte West says residents should prepare for an upcoming road closure in the Whites Road area in Bayside.
Officials say a portion of Whites Road will be closed to through-traffic next Tuesday, Nov. 11 through to Wednesday, Nov. 12 for Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) Railway maintenance.
The impacted stretch is between Meyers Creek Road and Quinte Road.
The closure will come into effect on Tuesday at 6 a.m. and last until about 2 p.m. Wednesday.
Access to Whites Road will be maintained from the north via Meyers Creek Road and Hwy. 2 from the south until the closure area, say city staff, adding that all through-traffic will be detoured.
