An investigation is continuing into a serious crash in Trent Hills that left one driver with life-threatening injuries, say police.
The two-vehicle crash in the Municipality of Trent Hills happened on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025, according to Northumberland OPP. In an update Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2025, police said officers responded to reports of a serious collision near County Road 45 and Concession Road 11 that day at about 5:50 p.m.
“One vehicle left the roadway, and the driver sustained serious injuries,” said police. “The individual was transported to a local hospital and later transferred to a Toronto-area hospital with life-threatening injuries.”
Paramedics and firefighters also responded to the call, as well as OPP’s technical collision investigation team. The onsite probe had the roadway shut down into the early-morning hours the following day.
On Tuesday, police said their investigation remains ongoing and issued a call for the public’s help. Police are calling on witnesses or anyone with video or dash-cam footage of the collision to reach out to investigators by calling 1-888-310-1122.
