Northumberland OPP say after arresting a Pickering and Ajax resident in Cobourg and a subsequent search warrant at a Pickering residence, they’ve seized a handgun, cocaine, cash, cellphones and drug paraphernalia.
In a release issued Friday, Nov. 21, 2025, police said on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2025, members of the Peterborough/Northumberland community street crime unit arrested two individuals in Cobourg.
A subsequent search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act was carried out at a residence in Pickering, reported OPP.
Police allege they seized a handgun, about 645 grams of cocaine, a quantity of Canadian currency, cellphones and drug paraphernalia.

As a result of the investigation, police said Shaquille Nathaniel-Lovell, 28, of Pickering, was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, unauthorized possession of a prohibited firearm, possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order, and breach of firearms regulations.
Andrew Jack, 34, of Ajax, was also charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
None of these charges have been proven in court.
Both of the accused were held for bail hearings in Cobourg, reported OPP on Friday.
