Brighton Fire and Rescue’s public education efforts and community outreach initiatives are getting a big boost thanks to the Tim Hortons’ Holiday Smile Cookie campaign.
This year’s holiday campaign was held between Nov. 17 and 23, and the final tally is now in: The campaign raised $5,346.
Half of these funds are helping out Brighton Fire and Rescue, and the other half is going to Tim Hortons Foundation Camps to help send kids and youth to camp.
Brighton Fire and Rescue is thanking residents who answered the call and purchased cookies during the campaign at the Elizabeth Street restaurant.
