A Belleville man is facing charges after a single-vehicle crash in the north end of the city, say police.
On Sunday, Feb. 1, at about 5 a.m., the Belleville Police Service said officers responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash in the city’s north end. After arriving on scene and speaking with the driver, officers allege they observed signs of impairment.
As a result of the investigation, police said a 34-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged with operation while impaired – alcohol, and operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus.)
None of these charges have been proven in court.
The accused was released on an undertaking and will appear back in court in March, reported police.
