WEDNESDAY, FEB. 11:
KNITCETERA: Calling all yarn enthusiasts! Drop in and share your projects and passions. All fibre artists are welcome, as well as those looking to learn. The fun runs at the Brighton Public Library from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. No registration needed.
SENIOR SKATE: Hit the ice from 2 to 3 p.m. at Brighton’s King Edward Park Arena.
PUBLIC SKATING: Everyone is welcome from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at Brighton’s arena.
ART SUPPLE DRIVE: There’s still time to help inspire future youth artists with a this drive continuing until the end of the month in support of ENSS. The drive is being hosted by the Brighton Arts and Culture Council. Gently-used or unused art supplies can be dropped off at 23 Main St. – the Presqu’ile Waddling Arts Centre downtown Brighton – from Tuesdays to Saturdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
TEEN SEWING STUDIO: Swing by the Quinte West Public Library from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. This is for ages 13 to 17.
BOOK AND BAKE: Hosted at the Quinte West Public Library Trenton branch, this is a unique book club experience combining love for books and food. Recipes inspired by the story of the month! This is the first meeting at 6 p.m.
THURSDAY, FEB. 12:
PARENT AND TOT SKATE: Enjoy some dedicated time on the ice for just you and your littles one from 10 to 11 a.m. at Brighton’s King Edward Park Arena.
BUSY BEES: Babies and caregivers can buzz on over to the Brighton Public Library to explore sensory activities weekly together, making new friends in this relaxed program from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
SONG AND STORY HOUR: Join Terry and Penny for sing-alongs and stories during the one-hour program running 10:30 to 11:30 at the Brighton Public Library.
ADULT SKATE: It’s all about you on the ice from 11 a.m. to noon. at King Edward.
TWEEN SCENE: For ages 11 to 14. Drop in the Brighton Public Library for snacks, games, crafts and just hang out. Runs 3 to 4 p.m.
CASINO ROYALE: Community Care Northumberland’s Casino Royale fundraiser makes its debut at the Capitol Theatre starting at 6 p.m.
LOCAL SPORTS: Support our teams!
WEDNESDAY, FEB. 11:
The Trent Hills Thunder take on the Napanee Raiders on the road. Game time is 8 p.m.
There’s also Brighton minor hockey action at King Edward from 7 to 10 p.m.
THURSDAY, FEB. 12:
The Picton Pirates are at home taking on the Amherstview Jets at 7:25 p.m.
BDMHA has the ice at King Edward from 5 to 9 p.m.
