Police said they subsequently made an arrest related to impaired driving and transported the accused to the detachment for further testing.
As a result of the investigation, police said a 42-year-old Quebec resident was charged with failure or refusal to comply with a demand and mischief – destroys or damages property.
None of these charges have been proven in court.
The accused is due in court in Belleville on April 16, 2026, reported OPP.
Police said the individual also had their licence suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle impounded for a week.
