FRIDAY, MARCH 6:
2026 INSPIHER LOCAL WOMEN IN BUSINESS: Hosted at Venture13 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. in Cobourg for International Women’s Day.
DROP IN AND CHEER: Catch up on the Paralympics on the big screen in the Brighton Public Library’s program room. Runs 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
PAST AND PRESENT 35TH ANNIVERSARY SHOW: Continues at Gallery 121 in Belleville from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
TODDLER DANCE PARTY: Hosted at the Trenton library for newborns to age 4. Fun runs 10 to 11 a.m. in the multi-purpose room.
ADULT SHINNY HOCKEY: Hosted at Brighton’s King Edward from noon to 1:30 p.m.
BINGO NIGHT FUNDRAISER: Hosted at Trent River Public School. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the games start at 6 p.m. All funds raised are going towards building a new Kindergarten playground at the school.
INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY: Celebrating Women: The Heart of the Community celebration, hosted at Occasions by the Bay at 980 Old Hwy. 2, Trenton.
PUBLIC SKATING: Swing by King Edward from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
FRIDAY NIGHT SOCIAL DANCE: Hosted by the Brighton Legion from 7 to 11 p.m. with DJ Greg spinning the tunes. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
SATURDAY, MARCH 7:
KIDS’ CRAFT KITS: Pick up your new kit from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Brighton Public Library’s main desk.
SPANISH CIRCLE: Hosted at BPL from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Join Sofia in the library to practise your Spanish. All ages and skill levels welcome.
SPAGHETTI SUPPER: Hosted at Smithfield-Carman United Church from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
DOWNHOMERS KITCHEN PARTY: Hosted at the Trenton Legion from 7 to 10 p.m.

FRIDAY, MARCH 6:
The Trenton Golden Hawks first OJHL playoff game is against the Lindsay Muskies on home ice at 7:30 p.m.
In the AHL, the Belleville Senators hit the road to take on the Utica Comets. Game time is 7 p.m.
Skate Canada has the ice at King Edward from 4:30 to 7 p.m.
SATURDAY, MARCH 7:
The Frankford Huskies host the Napanee Raiders in PJHL playoff action. The puck drops at 7 p.m.
The B-Sens will host the Comets for another match-up on home ice at 7 p.m.
Brighton minor hockey action will take place throughout the day at King Edward until 4 p.m. and then later in the evening from 7:30 to 9 p.m.
The Cold Creek Comets have the ice in between from 4 to 7:30 p.m.
