Roadside construction work has started in the main road and day-use Loop Road area in Presqu’ile Provincial Park in Brighton, say park officials.
According to park staff, the work is expected to continue throughout this year’s camping season and as a result, visitors may experience traffic delays at times, along with construction noise and temporary detours.
“We kindly ask that all drivers remain patient and follow posted signage and staff direction,” said park staff.
For everyone’s safety, park officials are also calling on pedestrians and cyclists to exercise extra caution moving through construction zones.
Officials say people can also monitor Presqu’ile-related alerts online.
The park is thanking residents and visitors for their patience as work continues to improve the overall park experience for all.
