The Quinte Trash Bash event is returning across the region on April 25, organizers have announced.
Residents across Quinte West, Belleville, Prince Edward County and Tyendinaga can get involved again this year.
The region-wide spring cleanup is a call to action for residents to come together to tackle litter from roadsides, parks and other shared spaces, explains the Quinte Trash Bash planning committee.
The cleanup is held at the end of Earth Week in April with the goal of contributing to a cleaner and greener future.
“Even small actions can have a big impact when it comes to protecting our environment,” adds City of Quinte West Mayor Jim Harrison. “Quinte Trash Bash brings our residents together each year to take pride in our community spaces and make a lasting difference for future generations – one park, trail and roadside at a time.”
Residents can get their clean-up supplies in advance or on the big day in their respective communities.
Information on supply kit distribution and garbage drop-off locations is available online, along with additional participation details.
