Here’s a quick snapshot of what’s going on in Brighton and the surrounding areas over the next 48 hours.
THURSDAY, APRIL 2:
BUSY BEES: Babies and caregivers can buzz on over to the Brighton Public Library for sensory activities and connection from 10 to 10:30 a.m.
SONG AND STORY HOUR: Hosted at the Brighton library from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Join Terry and Penny for sing-alongs and stories.
TWEEN SCENE: Hosted at the Brighton library in the program room for ages 11 to 14 from 3 to 4 p.m. Teens can drop by for snacks, games, crafts and just to hang out.
LITTLE CHEFS SERIES: This program helps the youngest of chefs learn simple, age-appropriate kitchen skills. Parents can join kids in this interactive experience to create a quick recipe. Hosted at the Trenton library for ages 5 to 7 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
OPEN MIC NIGHT AT THE GRAND MAPLE: The fun gets underway at 5:30 p.m. in Hastings and lasts until 8:30 p.m.
FRIDAY, APRIL 3:
PANCAKE BREAKFAST: Hosted at Smithfield-Carman United Church from 8:30 to10:30 a.m.
LOCAL SPORTS: Support our teams!
The Belleville Senators are on the road to start the Easter long-weekend and have a matchup against the Rochester Americans Friday evening. The puck drops at 7:05 p.m.
The B-Sens then hit the road Saturday to take on the Utica Comets. Game time is 6 p.m.
