Brighton is gearing up to unveil a brand-new look.
This Thursday, April 30, at the Owen Gibb Community Hall inside the King Edward Park Community Centre, the Municipality of Brighton will officially unveil its “new brand at a launch event.”
“This refreshed brand reflects both the spirit of the Brighton community and the organization that serves it,” said officials, in a recent advisory.
During the launch event, officials will also share the inspiration behind Brighton’s renewed visual identity and new logo, added officials.
The launch is set for 10 a.m. on Thursday.
As previously reported, the Municipality of Brighton started work on its visual identity refresh last year, with the goal of modernizing the corporate brand. Work has included partnership with a Kitchener-based branding agency known as the Blondes.
Up until this point, Brighton’s current logo has been in use since amalgamation in 2001.
