Brighton’s popular Concerts in the Park series makes a return as of June 3.
The organizing committee behind the series says expect “an exciting summer, featuring an amazing lineup of local talent.”
A total of a dozen artists and bands will perform over the course of three months this summer as part of the series, which is hosted in downtown Brighton at Memorial Park on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
In terms of your lineup to move and groove to all summer long, here’s what you need to know:
Long-time band Bentwood Rocker will again open the series on June 3.
Little Lake follows on June 10, Big Black Smoke on June 17 and then Coup de Ville rounds on the month on June 24.
In July, Four Lanes Wide is up first on July 8, then Vinyl Groovz on July 15, the Maurauders on July 22 and Whiskey Mojo on July 29.
For the last month, Brighton’s All-Star Concert Band will kick things off Aug. 5, then the Plowboys perform on Aug. 12 and the Reasons on Aug. 19 before Steve Pitticco and Friends close out the series on Aug. 26.
In the event of rain and/or inclement weather, the series can be postponed until the following Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
