A Belleville man has died after a collision involving a pedestrian earlier today (Tuesday, May 26.)
According to the Belleville Police Service, emergency crews responded to the Bridge Street East and Herchimer Avenue intersection for a report of a pedestrian hit by a vehicle at about 10:14 a.m. Tuesday.
After arriving on scene, police said a 26-year-old Belleville man was sent to Belleville General Hospital and pronounced deceased by medical staff.
The investigation remains ongoing, said police, in an afternoon update.
