Fraser Park Drive will remain closed for the next three months as work continues on the next phase of the Trenton trunk sewer project.
The closure impacts the stretch between Quinte Street to Dundas Street West. The closure also impacts between Albert Street and the Fraser Park parking lot, which remains fully closed to traffic, according to the city.
Access to business parking lots are being maintained via Albert Street, which is open to local traffic only, added city officials.
Meanwhile, access to Captain George’s Fish and Chips parking lot at the intersection of Dundas Street West and Fraser Park Drive will continue to be maintained.
All other traffic is being detoured via Quinte Street and Dundas Street West.
“Work is expected to continue in this area for approximately three months,” explained the city. “Once work is completed in this area, work will advance down Albert Street and towards the city hall parking lot.
“Closures and traffic impacts will be shared as the project progresses.”
