Quinte West OPP is calling on the public for help, hoping to identify individuals in connection with an alleged robbery and assault in Trenton.
According to OPP, on Friday, May 22, 2026, at about 1 p.m., three to four unknown males were at the Trenton ONroute in a grey Hyundai sedan.
“The males assaulted an individual in the parking lot, demanding the keys to their vehicle,” said police, in a release issued Wednesday, May 27, 2026. “The unknown males then fled the ONroute with both vehicles.”
Police said they’re hoping the public can help identify people of interest described as: Dark skinned males, possibly South Asian descent; wearing dark hoodies and driving a grey Hyundai sedan.
The investigation is ongoing, and police are hoping any witnesses or anyone with possible dash-camera footage will also step forward. Any person with information is urged to contact OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
