Cobourg Mayor Lucas Cleveland says the continued success of the Northumberland Home, Garden and Leisure Show reflects both growing business confidence and strong community support across the region.
The annual show returns to the Cobourg Community Centre this weekend, bringing together more than 70 exhibitors featuring home improvement services, landscaping, outdoor living, leisure products and local businesses.
Speaking with MBC Media, Cleveland said the show continues generating valuable economic activity for Cobourg and Northumberland.
Cleveland said the event is particularly important for smaller businesses and startups that may not have large advertising budgets but still need opportunities to connect directly with potential customers.
He also noted the value the show provides homeowners looking to make informed decisions about renovations and long term investments.
The mayor said events like the Home, Garden and Leisure Show also help reinforce Cobourg’s reputation as a growing business destination.
Cleveland added that the continued growth of the event demonstrates both residents and businesses continue finding value in the services, expertise and connections available through the show year after year.
The Northumberland Home, Garden and Leisure Show runs Saturday and Sunday at the Cobourg Community Centre, with doors opening at 9 a.m. both days.
