An investigation is continuing after a “medical emergency” early this morning (Friday, May 29) in the Burnham Street North area, says Northumberland OPP.
According to Northumberland OPP, emergency crews responded at about 5:15 a.m. to a parking lot off Burnham Street North in the Township of Hamilton for what was described as a medical emergency.
An individual was sent to a local hospital, said police, adding OPP remains on scene for an ongoing investigation.
Police confirmed there is no threat to public safety but said no further information can be provided at this time.
