Brighton’s popular Concerts in the Park series’ debut is just a day away.
This Wednesday, June 3, the summer-long series will make its return with Bentwood Rocker kicking off the series at 6:30 p.m. at the outdoor stage at Memorial Park.
Organizers have set about a dozen performers who will entertain Brightonians through to the end of August weekly on Wednesdays at the park.
After Bentwood Rocker opens the series, Little Lake is up on June 10, then Big Black Smoke on June 17 and Coup de Ville caps off the performances for the month.
Coming up in July, Four Lanes Wide performs July 8, then Vinyl Groovz on July 15, the Marauders on July 22 and Whiskey Mojo closes out the month on July 29.
And finally, in August, Brighton’s All-Star Concert Band will kick-off the month, performing Aug. 5. Afterwards, the Plowboys perform on Aug. 12 and then the Reasons on Aug. 19.
New this year, Steve Pitticco and Friends close out the series on Aug. 26.
If it rains or there is inclement weather, the performances always fall on the next day (Thursdays) at the same time.
All the shows are free to attend.
