The Quinte West detachment of the OPP has laid charges in several impaired driving investigations last week.
Police charged a 68 year old from Trenton with operating a vehicle while impaired with cannabis readily available during a RIDE program at 10:50 pm on Dundas Street West.
Police charged a 29 year old from Trenton with operating a vehicle while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration of 80 plus at 5:45 pm due to a traffic complaint on Front Street, Quinte West.
Police charged a 30 year old from Brampton with operating a vehicle while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration of 80 plus, dangerous operation, and driving with an open container of liquor at 8:00 pm due to a traffic complaint at North Beach Provincial Park.
All the charged drivers have had their vehicles impounded for seven days and their licenses suspended for 90 days. The charged drivers are to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville the last week of July.
