Businesses and organizations across the Bay of Quinte region are once again being recognized for their contributions to local communities and economic growth.
Nominations are now open for the 30th Annual Quinte Business Achievement Awards, a long-running program that celebrates excellence in entrepreneurship, customer service, innovation, community involvement, business development and organizational growth.
Organizers are inviting residents, customers, employees and volunteers to nominate businesses, business leaders and not-for-profit organizations that have made a positive impact throughout the region.
Eligible nominees include businesses and organizations located in Brighton, Belleville, Quinte West and Prince Edward County.
“This is your opportunity to recognize the Bay of Quinte’s most dynamic companies and business leaders,” organizers said in announcing the nomination campaign.
Quinte Business Achievement Awards Coordinator Taetum Roseberry says being nominated is meaningful recognition for many local businesses.
“Businesses are honoured to be nominated and recognized by someone in the community,” Roseberry said.
After nominations close, eligible nominees will be invited to complete a questionnaire about their business or organization. A panel of independent judges will review submissions and select award recipients later this year.
Nominations can be submitted anonymously online at qbaa.ca or by calling 613-392-7635. Organizers say only basic information, including the nominee’s name, community and contact details, is required.
The nomination deadline is June 30.
Award recipients will be announced at the 2026 Quinte Business Achievement Awards Gala on October 23.
The awards program is supported by a coalition of municipalities, chambers of commerce, economic development organizations and business partners from across the Bay of Quinte region.
